I have a background in psychology and a genuine passion for helping others feel heard, understood and supported.
My passion for counselling is also deeply personal. Having experienced the transformative impact of therapy during a challenging time in my own life, I understand how meaningful it can be to have someone who listens, supports and accepts you without judgement.
That experience inspired me to offer others the same opportunity for connection, self-understanding and growth.
I'm particularly passionate about supporting individuals and believe that investing in their emotional wellbeing can create meaningful change in their lives and communities.
My Approach to Counselling
I believe that every person has a unique story, and that counselling should be a space where yours can unfold at your own pace.
My approach is rooted in person-centred counselling, guided by compassion, curiosity and genuine connection. I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions and experiences.
I see counselling as a collaborative, client-led process. Rather than telling you what to do or how to feel, my role is to walk alongside you as we explore the experiences and perspectives that shape your life.
I also take a holistic approach, recognising that emotional wellbeing is connected to our relationships, environments and the different aspects of our lives.
My hope is that our sessions support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, feeling more empowered in your choices and approaching life's challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
My Scope of Practice
As an ASCHP-registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor, I offer supportive counselling focused on emotional wellbeing, personal growth, relationships and navigating life's challenges.
My work takes a holistic, person-centred approach, supporting clients in developing self-awareness, exploring their experiences and building healthy coping strategies.
Wellness counselling does not include clinical diagnosis or psychotherapy. Where a client's needs fall outside my professional scope, I recognise the importance of appropriate referrals to psychologists, psychiatrists or other qualified healthcare professionals.
